Records In My Life: FIDLAR

We met with Zach and Elvis from the band FIDLAR before their appearance as part of Levitation Vancouver this weekend.  As there were still a lot of bands sound-checking during the interview we filmed this clip at the Bottleneck bar downstairs from the Commodore.  The two had a lot to say about their musical influences and seemed to have a fun time discussing albums from Neil Young, Redd Cross, Rage Against the Machine and more.  Really genuine guys, and a good interview.  Have a look.

This FIDLAR on Records In My Life episode references the following albums:
1. Neil Young - After the Goldrush
2. Rage Against the Machine - The BAttle of Los Angeles
3. Redd Kross - Born Innocent
4. Queens of the Stone Age - Songs for the Deaf
5. T.Rex - Electric Warrior
6. Jackson Brown - Running on Empty

Momento - Sex With Strangers' New Video

It is with great pride that we present the brand new, live off the floor, video of Sex With Strangers single "Momento'.   We shot this clip a couple weekends back at the rather bizarrely horror movie themed Sanctuary Rehearsal studios in East Vancouver.  Everybody showed up and killed it.  Lead singer Hatch Benedict is in top form, and I think this is the first time I've seen his live-show energy captured on camera.  But I suppose that is because it is live!

Sex With Strangers - Momento was directed, edited, recorded and mixed by Mark R Henning
Filmed at Sanctuary Rehearsal Studios, Vancouver BC
Videography by Benn McGuire and Henning
Mixed and edited at Boutique Empire Recording by Henning
Audio mastering by Craig Waddell at Gotham Studio

Special Thanks to Wayne Hoecherl for his assistance in regards to camera equipment!

Momento will be a part of the new ep Space and Time, produced by Jason Corbett, arriving April 5th 2016.
